There are millions of blogs on the Internet and I came to the realization that there is no blog for me. Anyone reading this probably finds it a bit absurd; obviously this blog is very much for me, in that I write it. But that's not quite what I mean. For a while I went to Slashdot, but that's a bit too tech for my taste. And Engadget is just pointless because I don't need a new cell phone every week. Boing Boing was my blog of choice for a long time, but there's only so much news I can read about things cleverly remade into iPod covers, what today's photoshop contest is, and what new atrocity Sony DRM has caused. Again, Overheard in New York is sometimes funny, in the sense that random people talking about sex or having a conversation that can be mistaken for being about sex is mildly entertaining. It was a lot funnier when I was 12 or 13. Sigh. I'm a blogger without a blog...well, other than my own blog. And I already know what I think, so how fun is it to read that? How can there be so many sites out there and not one that I'm interesting in going to?
